History

Laudamotion (Lauda Motion GmbH) is an Austrian airline owned by the ex-driver of Formula 1, Niki Lauda, and which is based in Vienna. The airline was founded as Amira Air in 2001 until its purchase by Niki Lauda in 2018, changing its name to Laudamotion, and to which it also transferred the assets of the recently absorbed airline Niki by the expilot.
The airline has reached different collaboration, management and economic agreements with the airline Condor Flugdienst and with the airline Ryanair to expand its fleet and operations.
Laudamotion and Ryanair announced a new aviation partnership where the Irish airline is initially taking a 75% stake in Laudamotion. This agreement with Ryanair will allow the gradual growth of Laudamotion in Austria which currently has a fleet of ten Airbus aircraft.

Laudamotion Destinations:

Laudamotion flies from Palma Airport to Dresden, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hannover, Knock, Munich, Münster-Osnabrück, Stuttgart and Vienna. On seasonal flies to Erfurt-Weimar, Friedrichshafen, Klagenfurt, Salzburg and Santiago de Compostela.
